Appointments are
preferred for all
consultations
Standard appointment times are 15 minutes per patient. This is normally enough time for the doctor to discuss a couple of health problems, which may involve discussing a short history, carrying out a simple examination & prescribing medication.
We ask if patients can inform our receptionists if they require a longer appointment, this will help keep our doctors on time & allow them to give your health issues the attention they deserve.
Some examples for longer appointments:
- Minor procedures
- Mental Health Plans
- Immunisations
- Multiple patients (e.g. parent & children)
- Complex health problems
- Cervical Screening Test / Women’s Wellness Check
